A-type layer cage is an economical laying chicken breeding cage with a low price. It has a stepped shape with wire cages on both sides, generally 3-4 tiers, suitable for small and medium-scale laying hen farms. A-type layer cage can be equipped with fully automatic or semi-automatic poultry farming equipment, which depends on the requirements for the automation degree, capital situation, and breeding needs.

The European-style H-type layer cage is an advanced laying hen breeding cage that can realize fully automated management. Its shape is similar to the letter H, and it is usually 3-9 tiers, which can be stacked place in multiple sets, so it occupies a small space and has a high breeding density, especially suitable for large-scale laying hen farms. European-style H-type layer cage is equipped with fully automatic poultry farming systems, and the whole cage frame, cage wire, and feed trough are processed by hot-dip galvanizing, therefore the overall price is high.

Small-stacked H-type layer cage is an economical H-type laying chicken cage with a low price. Its appearance is similar to the European-style H-type layer cage, but it has a smaller footprint and the cage style and structure are simpler. It is usually 3-4 tiers and can also be stacked and placed with multiple sets. The cage frame, cage wire, and cage trough are all made of high-quality steel (PVC feed trough is also available) and are treated with hot-dip galvanizing or cold galvanizing, therefore the price range is large.

If you have 5000-20000 laying hens, A-type layer cages and small-stacked H-type layer cages are both good choices. Besides, the manure removal system and feeding system are necessary.
Breeding Amount: >20000 birds
The European-style H-type layer cage is suitable for large and medium-scale laying hen farming. It needs to be equipped with fully automatic poultry farming equipment, such as an automatic drinking system, belt-type manure removal system, ladder feeding system, longitudinal egg collecting system, etc. As the H-type layer cage is only suitable for closed poultry houses, and due to the large breeding number, the climate control system is indispensable, which includes the exhaust fan, cooling pad, lighting system, etc. In addition, if the breeding scale exceeds 50000 birds, you need to install feed silos. For less than 50000 birds you can just use one screw conveyor to convey the feed to the hopper.
